Warranty and RMA

Last updated 10 July 2026

Every display we sell carries a 90 day warranty against manufacturing defects, our own commercial promise to every buyer. If you bought as a consumer, you also have the two year legal guarantee under Estonian law, which this warranty adds to and never replaces or shortens. Here is what our warranty covers, what it does not, and exactly how to make a claim.

1. What we test before we ship

We function test every unit before dispatch. We check display output, touch response, and, where the model uses it, Face ID and True Tone pairing. Each unit ships with a QC sticker so we can identify the panel we sold.

2. The warranty

  • Length: 90 days from the date the order is delivered.
  • Who it covers: the original buyer of the display. For a business, it does not pass on to your own customers.
  • What it covers: manufacturing and functional defects, such as dead pixels, lines or black spots, brightness or display failure, touch or digitiser failure, colour distortion, and adhesion, flex, or connector faults not caused by handling.

If a covered defect appears, we repair or replace the unit, or credit you, our choice, at no cost to you. A replacement carries the remaining warranty of the original unit.

3. If you bought as a consumer

As a private customer you also have the two year legal guarantee of conformity under Estonian law. If a fault that was present at delivery appears within two years, we repair or replace the display free of charge, and if that is not possible or does not work, you can ask for a price reduction or cancel for a refund. For the first year we carry the burden of proof. This applies to our refurbished displays exactly as it would to new goods, and it cannot be signed away. Our 90 day warranty is on top of this, never instead of it. Full detail is in section 8 of our Terms of Sale.

4. How to tell a defect from impact damage

Manufacturing defects are there from the start or appear without a knock. Lines, dead pixels, black spots, ink like spreading, or colour distortion that appear after a drop, a press, or a bend are impact damage, not a defect, even when the glass looks intact. Internal cracks show under angled light. Check a screen before you fit it, and again if a phone has been dropped.

5. What is not covered

  • Physical, impact, or pressure damage, and cracked or scratched glass after delivery.
  • Bent or torn flex and damaged connectors.
  • Liquid damage.
  • Burn in caused in use.
  • Incorrect or forced installation, wrong tools, or too much heat.
  • A removed or tampered QC sticker.
  • Parts not bought from Fixera.
  • Normal cosmetic wear.
  • Phone side behaviour, such as a True Tone, Face ID, or genuine part message, which is a programming matter on the phone and not a panel defect.

6. Making a claim (RMA)

Contact us at info@fixera.store or +372 56200246 with your order number, the model, and a description of the fault with photos or a short video. We issue an RMA number and instructions. Send nothing back before you have the number.

  • Return the unit in its original packaging with the QC sticker intact.
  • We test every returned unit on arrival; typical turnaround is 1 to 3 working days.

7. Shipping and remedy

  • On a confirmed fault we pay the return shipping with a prepaid label, and there is no fee.
  • If we find no fault, or find damage caused after delivery, we return the unit and the return shipping is at your cost.

Under our 90 day warranty the remedy is a repair, a replacement, or a credit, our choice. If you bought as a consumer, the statutory remedies in section 3 apply instead and cannot be limited: repair or replacement first, then a price reduction or refund if that does not work.
